PocketQuest Creator Survey

• 65.3% of PocketQuest Creators (PQC) said they would convert their titles to Roll20 listings in 2024.
• 50% of PQC were brand new, never published before, creators.
• Over 70% of PQC want us to implement workshops.
• PQC want to have PocketQuest submissions due a week in advance of the promotion.
• PQC want PocketQuest 2024 to not conflict with major site-wide sales.
• PQC want Community Content Programs to be allowed to participate for PocketQuest 2024.

Current Actions & Research for 2023

• Partner Relations will be reviewing what went right, what could go better, and creator feedback to work on a plan of action to improve PocketQuest in 2024.
• Community Content may be allowed (baring technical restrictions) to participate in 2024 and is being discussed as an opportunity.
• DriveThruRPG to meet with Storytelling Collective and Top Publishing Partners to generate ideas for workshops and support.

Rules Adjustments Confirmed for 2024

• The ‘20-page maximum’ rule will be redefined and much clearer in 2024.
• PocketQuest 2024 will extend the submission deadline from one month to two months.

Current Plans Confirmed for 2024

• The new theme will be voted on within the DriveThruRPG Discord (Must be a freelancer, Community Content Partner, or a DriveThru / Roll20 Partner to join) in 2024.
• PocketQuest 2024 will be held during a month with less site-wide promotions.
• PocketQuest will incorporate a Print-On-Demand Anthology for each PocketQuest that meet certain requirements.
• More marketing support for PocketQuest 2024 before, during, and after.
• New submission process to make it easier for creators to submit.
• Create a PocketQuest-Rolodex for creators to be able to collaborate with one another.
• Workshops for marketing, layout, descriptions, and more for creators throughout PocketQuest 2024.
